Debate: Should Queer be used as an umbrella term?
I personally don't think so, even though it's been reclaimed by some, not everyone is comfortable with it. If you want use it to describe yourself go ahead, but please be mindful and don't call other people queer unless they're okay with it. Reclaiming is a personal thing and that's why I don't think an entire community can reclaim a slur and all identify as it.
