Am I the only one that gets irritated when someone asks if tattoos hurt and the response is “No, not at all. I actually like the way they feel.”?

I have 12 huge pieces, most broken into sessions due to time. I enjoy getting tattoos and have a very high pain tolerance but a fucking needle scraped into and across the top three layers of your skin hurts. Period. A whole slew of factors go into the actual sensations you experience ranging from numb and ticklish to burning and stinging but ultimately being a “hard ass” and answering the tattoo pain question with “no, not at all” only makes that person look like a chode.
