Pregnant or period?

Hey girls, so I got my period a week ago, super painful cramps like always, a heavy flow and with clots and my usual period symptoms. I’ve been on birth control for almost 6 months and take it religiously. And Always use a condom when I have sex. Everyone has been worrying me saying a period isn’t a for sure sign of not being pregnant. Any thoughts? I mean I’m a little worried and confused when it was heavy flow, a week long, red, usual symptoms and I’m on BC.
