Please no negative comments. I am due at the end of October with baby #2. My daughter will be 2 in February. I tried breastfeeding her in the hospital and could never get her to latch so I pumped instead after trying for 2 weeks to get her to latch. It was the worst experience ever and so stressful on our family. I was and still am a full time college student, will be when this baby arrives too. Pumping was so time consuming and I hated every minute of it. I am really considering formula feeding this baby from day 1. I will be a full time college student with a newborn and toddler, and my fiancé works nights so just thinking it would reduce a lot of stress on me and the kids. We are on WIC right now and I’m wondering if you get formula right away or if they pressure you to breastfeed instead? Also, while in the hospital, if you formula fed your baby did they make you breastfeed in the hospital or were you able to use formula?
