Refusing bottle

My son just turned 1 and if it was up to him he would still bf at least every 2 hours. I give him 3 meals a day and for the last month I’ve been trying to offer him a little formula in a cup or bottle. At first he was ok with it but then he started vehemently refusing it. He throws the bottle and hits me if i get near him with it. He’s fine drinking water out of the cup but not milk of any kind. I’m surprised bc he had latch issues and I had to exclusively pump/bottle feed for the first 4 months but since then it’s pretty much just breast and food. He’s a big boy at 32 pounds but he’s killing me with the breastfeeding, I just want my cycle back and to not feel like a human vending machine 24/7. I don’t need to wean completely I would rather just bf before bed. Any tips?
