Is sleeping on your back safe for us and the baby? i’m 21 weeks almost and have been reading that sleeping on my back is unsafe. I always find myself on my back because it’s most comfortable :/

I was told by my doctor to sleep however i am comfortable

I was told it’s not good as it increases the likelihood of a still birth as it cuts off the blood supply to the baby.

I was told not to sleep on my back. Preferably try to sleep on your left side since it's better for the blood flow ( or whatever it's called in English). Actually a friend of mine woke up with heart attack like symptoms during pregnancy and rushed to the ER. They didn't find anything wrong with her but told her not to sleep on her back since it can cut off the blood supply.

I was told it can increase the chances of stillbirth. Personally, I’m not talking any chances.
