Can I still lift groceries and laundry basket in 1st trimester?

When do we need to be careful about lifting?

When your doctor tells you. You're perfectly okay to lift anything you were lifting pre-pregnancy.

I still did everything the same. I am 33 weeks pregnant right now and I am installing floor in my house 🤷🏻‍♀️ my husband just brings the cases of flooring in from the garage and I lay them down and use power saws and everything. 😂

Unless there are complications you can keep lifting things throughout your pregnancy. I know now that I'm almost in the 3rd trimester my balance gets thrown off easy so I try not to lift as much, but you should be fine. Listen to your body😊

I'm 33 weeks pregnant and the only reason I don't lift stuff is because my husband & my coworkers won't let (I'm still able to they just don't want me to 😑).

I couldn’t stop lifting my toddler or doing household chores so I never started being careful. My second baby is lovely and healthy.

I was okay, but I found my issue was with my dog. He’s 100 pounds he pulled on the leash a lot and I’d end up with cramps. 
My doctor told me to listen to my body, if I ended up hurting after then it wasn’t something I should continue doing.

I would check with your doctor because everyone is different. Personally, I do just about everything I did before I was pregnant. I am high risk and 29 weeks but my doctor just tells me to listen to my body.

Well I have a partial Placenta Previa where part of my Placenta is covering my cervix. I have to be careful not to lift things that are too heavy.

im at end of second trimester and lifting resident in nursing home for work...its about technique and pacing yourself...your fine!!:) just bend your knees dont use your back
