Are you still friends with your high school friends after going to college?

I️’m going into my sophomore year of college and have barely talked to my old high school friends this summer, and oddly enough I’m perfectly happy being antisocial for the summer because I’m so much closer to my new friends, and they’re just overall better friends than the people I️ hung out with in high school ever were. So I️ was just wondering if this is normal or if I’m just weird lol

No I haven’t talked to anybody from high school since our high school graduation which was 7 years ago.

I still talk to two people from high school and one of them is my absolute best friend (we met in seventh grade). I made a few really good friends in college so far.

I actively avoid going out in public around my hometown so I don’t have to potentially run into high school friends whom I am no longer friends with. I haven’t talked to my college friends in a couple months, but that’s because I don’t have a PS4 and that’s the only way we talk, but I’ll be able to talk to them again in a month or two.
