Help I need advice

I have been heavily bleeding for off and on for about a month. I’ve gone to the doctor three times and they keep telling me it’s just my hormones. I really don’t think it’s just my hormones or my regular period. I’ve gone through a Costco sized boxes of tampons and countless panties and pants in this time. I cough and blood just pours down my legs. My usual period is light and lasts 4-5 days. The doctors are not taking me seriously because all the tests are normal. I’m just wondering if any of you ladies ever experience a dramatic change in your periods suddenly? This has never happened and I think something else is wrong.
