Mexican wedding traditions

(I'm Mexican, he's Irish/French-Canadian)

My mom was telling me abt Mexican wedding traditions, one of them being rehearsal dinners aren't a thing. I went to google for more info but keep finding the same few things (lazo, arras, padrinos). What are some other traditions I should know?

Also I'd like to know how paying for a wedding works in Mexico. From what my mom and my suegra told me, it sounds like there are some differences in tradition/payment between there and the US.
