Does a high amount of semen at ejaculation mean a high sperm count?

Just curious...I read online that the average amount of semen ejaculation is 2-5 mL. A teaspoon is just a touch under 5 mL. If we’ve had sex frequently, my husband ejaculates at least a teaspoon of fluid. If it’s been a while, he has much more. Is this a good sign for high sperm count, or are the two not related? We haven’t even started trying yet (planning to in Sept), but I just want to have peace of mind that we’re both fertile.

Dear my husband had his SA and although he had the semen amount that is normal 4.7 ml the sample came back no sperm found so the amount of fluid doesn’t mean anything unfortunately. 
For us at least that was the case and because we had the idea that because of the fluid amount for sure nothing like this was expected. We were in a big shock . 
I hope everything will work out for you and you will have your baby soon !!
