Constipation during pregnancy

So I’ve noticed that for the past 2 weeks I’ve been really constipated. I’m not sure how far along I am until my first appointment on the 26th. Is it safe to take miralax ? I’ve always had constipation problems and taken it but since I’m pregnant , I’m not sure if it’s safe or not?
