Preterm labor

Has anyone had to get the Makena injections once a week to prevent preterm labor? I start them next week, just wondering if it affected you ladies in any way or caused any problems. The pharmacist said it has caused some women to go into preterm labor but being that I had preterm labor with out it twice I believe it is worth a shot to see if it helps. Just a little nervous it will bring on the preterm labor sooner than it happened last pregnancy without the injection. Any experiences with this medication please comment.
