Implantation bleeding?

So my period had been late for almost 8 days & I the other night I went to go pee & when I wiped a little pink tone was on the tissue so I was like oh it’s just my period finally starting, but then my friend informed me about implantation bleeding & now I’m not too sure what it could be because if it is my period it is not heavy at all , but it’s also very light. Can any one help? Also I ended up reading into implantation bleeding & I read on a couple of sites that it says that blood clots are not a sign of implantation bleeding is that true?

This is 2 days after I wiped the pinky tone color on the tissue. Can anyone explain or help me? Could it just be my normal period & I’m just being paranoid?
