Suspected VCI 😬😬😬

I had my anatomy ultrasound 7/9, found out we were having another boy! I got a call 7/10 from my ob’s nurse saying baby looked good, but there was a concern about the cord insertion and I was told that they want me on pelvic rest until a follow up ultrasound.. I looked on my health app of my ultrasound summary and it said velamentous cord insertion was suspected which puts me at high risk for vasa previa.. I did so much research and I’m terrified. I had no issues with my first pregnancy so this scares me quite a bit.. I have my next ultrasound 7/25 to find out if VCI is present or not. Any other mommies go through this? I read that it’s rare which scares me even more! 😬
