How do I get over him

Trying to get over a fuck boy that hits me up one day, and then for a week will ignore me and then hmu again. It’s been going on since February and I’m tired of it. But the problem is every time he comes back I let him cause I like him soooo much. I don’t know how to get out of the feelings that I caught I wish so badly that he was my Bf but I know he doesn’t date and no matter how hard I try I always find myself thinking about him or stalking his insta, etc.. please give me some advice on what I should do!!
