39 hours of labor... due date baby!! 💗 And how we got labor started.

My boyfriend and I had sex, and just three hours later.. at 1:30 a.m.. my water broke!!We go to the hospital and I was still only at 1 cm. So they induced me (forgot what it’s called - they didn’t do the pitocin yet) and was progressing very slowly. Hours later, only at 3 cm dilated. So then they started the pitocin almost 24 hours later, and holy cow.. I couldn’t take it anymore. I got an epidural and had to have it done three times since everything was taking so long.

Finally, before they were thinking about doing an emergency c-section... (because my water broke, they needed to get her out soon. I had a low grade fever)... I finally dilated all the way! Thank GOODNESS! I was so tired and so so so ready after 39 hours!!!

I pushed baby out in 45 minutes, luckily no tears. Born 4:49 p.m. on her due date, July 11th ❤️❤️ Baby girl is here and is healthy, and I am over the moon.
