Not sleeping

So we’ve been having issues for the past week where my LO will wake up in the middle of the night and just scream like she’s hurt. The scream is heart clenching. It’s like she’s in pain. It’s the type of scream that leads to her holding her breath and crying and then ends with her shuddering and trying to catch her breath when she calms down. There’s nothing that could be hurting her where she sleeps. She still doesn’t have a pillow or blanket. And otherwise she’s a happy health baby. Anyone have any ideas? Can a one year old have sleep terrors?
