Should I come out?!?

I have just fully come out to myself this year. I want to come out to my best friends, a pan girl at my school, and my mom. I was going to come out to my mom next June(for pride month). I want to come out to the rest of my fam, but I am very nervous that they are not LGBTQ+ supportive. What should i do?

Could you test the waters, so to speak? I have a feeling this is what my son did. He would ask me about certain gay characters and we’d have discussions about the political climate and how attitudes have changed since I was young. He really wanted to tell me (that he is bi) and after he did he asked if he had to be open (about his orientation with everyone) and we continued to talk and it was wonderful to have such open and honest dialogue. 
I can’t speak for your mother, you know her but I understand even if you know she loves you no matter what it can be still awkward and challenging to have that discussion.

Do it when you are ready. But come out to one of the people you trust the most. They are usually less likely to judge or care. I made the mistake of coming out, then being nervous and going back in. My baby brother played it smart and told who he trusted first.
