31 days since D&C

So I had a D&C; on June 20th, baby’s heart stopped at 12 weeks and we found out a couple days later, had the D&C; within the week.

My hcg levels were incredibly high (over 800k) and are now down in the neighbourhood of 6000 as of last week.

I have been brown spotting continuously since about two weeks ago now after the bleeding stopped, and it has/had let up to being barely there as of a few days ago. (I don’t need so much as a liner even at this point)

But today it seems to be picking up again, and more red than brown, could this be the start of my period again already? I know I haven’t ovulated and won’t ovulate for awhile based on my hcg levels, but from what I understand I could potentially get a period with hcg still in my system?

When did you get your period post D&C;? And for those with a late first trimester loss that didn’t have a D&C;, how long did it take for you to see a period again?
