how did your little react to 12 month vaccinations?

My little man got 5 vaccinations yesterday morning and he's still not feeling great. Is any one else seeing the same thing? This didn't happen for his last shots. 😞

depends on the vaccines your pediatric has. I work in a family practice and gave 1 year old shots just today. we have all the separate ones. where as my ped for my daughter has combo ones. and spaces it a bit more. so on her 15 month shots instead of the dtap I give out patients. he will give her the Dtap and hib I believe is the combo. so her 1 year shots she only got 3. 
On another note 1 year shots have the MMR and Varicella which are *live vaccines vs *in active vaccines. Which can make   little a little more worse for wear like you noticed vs the shots previously.

He’s been a little crankier with the 12 month ones, the sites are a little more swollen. My ped gives combo shots so it was 2 syringes. Like I said he’s crabbier, not eating quite as much as normal (but not concerning low amounts). It’s been 5 days and he’s starting to act more like himself.

My son only got 3 (I’ve heard Moms say as many as 6 at 12 months!).  He has reacted the same as he has with all of his others, a little cranky, tired, and soreness at the site.

Ive heard that the 12 month ones can be a little tougher on them but my little man had them last week and he was ok, a little grumpy and the sites where he had the shots were definitely a little sore for a few days.
