Quick question: how do you know it’s love?

So I met this guy online about a month ago. We’re on different timezones and have 12 hour difference. But somehow we managed to talk all day and night despite that difference. Whenever we decided to talk on the phone or video call my heart literally pounds and I’m all giddy and excited and blushy when I talk to him. I don’t know how do you define love, and not too sure of what to call my feeling is. I just tell him I care about him so much. I’ve never had any boyfriend before, so this is new to me.

I don’t believe there is just one thing that defines love; it has to be about more than just a feeling one gets. Part of the reason u r feeling this way is because it is your first time, so it is new exciting and in the beginning of every relationship almost everyone feels similar! Love is about working through the problems together, putting someone above yourself, but not all the time, being able to communicate even if it might hurt their feelings, showing them that u care no matter what, being there when u aren’t even asked, being yourself, and not trying to change yourself for anyone, finding time for yourself and them! There are different stages of a relationship! 
Honeymoon stage:   This stage is in the beginning it is new it’s butterflies and being what the other person wants u to be; it is exciting and fun. This stage can last from a month to about a six months. 
Conflict stage:     This stage is where u start actually showing who u r. U guys learn more about each other u pick up on some of the flaws and stuff. Usually something happens during this stage and makes u question. The relationship. This stage can last from six months to a year. 
The last stage is the fight or flight stage. In this stage it is where u accept the person for who they truly are and work through the problems or u give up on the relationship because it is not what u were looking for. This stage of the relationship can also last between three months and a year.
