i don’t know what to do

so me and my boyfriend of almost three years broke up about a week ago. it was fairly easy... for me. he took it horribly. and we have been having sex every time we see each other - 3 days strong. he keeps saying that this could mean something better for us but he was so controlling and against everything i wanted and i don’t want to get back together. he promises that this time is different but the last 30 times he promised that it was different. i honestly don’t know what to do. i know the logical thing would be to stop seeing him and obviously stop having sex but he seems to have really put everything into perspective and i really love him. i love him more than anything. i’m so confused.
