Wish he would help more

I have two amazing children with my fiancé who I have been with for 7 years. We have a little boy who is 2 and a little girl who is 9 months. I am a stay at home Mom also can’t work due to some disabilities fiancé was well a were of before we got together and had kids. He is truly and amazing guy and such a sweet heart but my only problem is he acts like everything is on me literally. I have to ask him to do something for one of the kids and when I do he goes you can’t do it or was I suppose to know to do it. Now mind you I have never made him get up in the middle of the night to take care of the kids I have done it all at night with no help since day one. I have brought it up to him a few times and he just thinks I am degrading him as a dad but that’s not the case at all he’s a great dad and loves his kids it’s just it would be nice if he would help with the kids just sometimes would be nice. How do you ladies think I should suggest trying to talk to him?
