How do I get rid of the breastmilk? I'm switching over to formula and I've heard different things on how to get rid of it but I want a for sure way! Please someone tell me?! My boobs are hurting so much!

Don't forget that you know what's best for your baby! If you think formula feeding will be best for your LO stick to that, and talk to your doctor about what to do with your supply.

Hand express when you absolutely can't take the engorgement anymore. Use the cold cabbage leaves in your bra and drink peppermint tea. You can also take a sage tincture and it will dry up your milk.

I've heard cabbage leaves in your bra help. When they are cold it produces a chemical that helps dry up breast milk. I haven't used then but I've heard that some people have. Good luck, breastfeeding does get easier with time though. My LO is 6 months old and the first month breastfeeding was awful, now we both love it.
