since cc has been dead recently I thought I'd post something different. I'm not sure of other countries laws but here we have animal welfare laws, specifically the five freedoms. one of the laws is the 'freedom to express normal behaviour'. a lot of people call the authorities when dogs bark at home, authorities will come out and tell the owner to stop the dog barking and some will take court action. dogs barking is a natural behaviour and one of their ways of communication, given the freedom law do you think it's acceptable for authorities to attempt to stop that natural behaviour? or legal for them to stop it? I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT BARKING 12 HOURS EVERYDAY, I'm talking about a dog barking when someone comes to the door or when playing.
