When do boobs start leaking?

I’m 12 weeks today according to this app, I have my first scan tomorrow! I have both my nipples pierced and they are quite sore to touch at the moment not too bad though! I just wanting to know at what point in pregnancy do boobs start to leak as I really don’t want to take my piercings out till I have given birth and start breast feeding but I don’t really want leaking boobs cause I have big holes in them? Anyone had or has the same problem?

They may not leak at all before you deliver.

Mine didn’t leak til after birth with my first, and I’m 36 weeks with my second and they still haven’t.

By 14 weeks I noticed I would leak if I was laying on my side and my boobs were being kinda squished. Ever since then it’s been the same thing & I’ll be 38 weeks on Thursday. I do leak a little easier now though, everyone’s just different 🤷🏽‍♀️

I'm 26 weeks tomorrow and still haven't started leaking. but I know some women have. you can keep the nipple rings in as long as you want and as long as they aren't causing pain. BUT you must take them out before nursing. you can put them back in after but you've got some time to think about if your going to remove them completely.  :)
