Shooting range?

I’m 7 weeks and my husband & I want to go to an indoor shooting range. Is this fine? I haven’t been to an ob yet so I couldn’t ask. Anyone have any experience with this? Most of the stuff I found online said it’s fine til you hit 20 weeks then you should stop.

I was shooting a mosin nagant (military rifle) at 22 weeks. 😅 My midwife said it was fine. she explained to the baby, it wont sound any louder than my heartbeat. Which is loud when you hear it from the inside. Baby is in a thick uterus, inside of you and surounded by tons of fluid. Shots are muffled at best. especially that early.

During the whole pregnancy indoor ranges are a no due to the lead exposure. Outdoor ranges are better and later in pregnancy the noise level is a concern.

I love shooting with my husband. But the lead is supposed to be an issue.
I would call the OB if anything just to be 100%

I asked my ob about shooting firearms for target practice during my first pregnancy, and he said it was no problem.

Depending how far along you are they usually say no because the loud noise can affect your babys hearing just like fireworks or any other loud noise.

I use to go shooting all the time with my husband and have not at all this pregnancy. The ears are developing, so it isn't safe. Especially indoor...and the carbon isn't good for baby

I was pretty far along and you could tell I was pregnant. The indoor one I went to wouldn’t allow me to shoot because the lead and gun powder in the air. Since not everyone uses brass. I had to go outdoors to a shooting area where no one can say yes or no to anyone shooting unless they check if you have a felony.
