AF 3 days late

So AF is 3 days late this month. I haven’t had any pregnancy symptoms or PMS symptoms. I took a test when I was 2 days late and it was negative. I’ve never been pregnant and I’m not sure what to expect here. I don’t want to get my hopes up, but my period has never been more than a day late.
