Has anyone had a UTI and yeast infection simultaneously....how did you survive it? Going through this now after getting a pounding of a lifetime this week. Sigh...

Yep. If its bad like i have experienced... head to the walk in clinic asap for antibiotics for that UTI. On the way, stop and buy water, or cranberry juice (as much as you can carry) and stop at a health foods store and pick up a probiotic with a hazillion kajillion bazillion active cells and take one asap. Then get to the clinic, wait it out to get your antibiotics. (I know it sucks and its super uncomfortable)! After you pick up the script - continue taking the antibiotics and probiotics AT LEAST 4 hours apart. Heres what worked for me last time

Be warned, the probiotics are pricey! And this may seem like an extreme measure to all those who are able to cure with home remedies. 
This regimen has me back to myself completely in about 3 days (but i continue obv until the script is run out). 
If you experience pain in the lady parts due to the bladder infection - depending where you live, there are OTC products to help with the discomfort! Good luck and i really hope you feel better soon. I have been there too many times.

Take the vitamin D Mannose to clear up the Uti, because antibiotics will only make the yeast infection worse.                     Take monistat to get rid of the yeast infection. Both can be bought over the counter.

Doctor wrote an anti-fungal medication, used home remedies for both also. Take cranberry tablets. It prevents the growth of yeast in your urinary tract, gets rid of it, and helps your vaginal health. Drink water. Try to avoid tight undies.

I did early in my pregnancy, but had absolutely no symptoms... so I just took probiotics and watched my diet. Also drank lots of distilled water and colloidal silver.
