Grandparents & Pools
Hey Peeps. Need advice... here’s the sitch
I have a 2 yr old who is watched by grandparents twice a week...
My BIL/SIL recently renovated their back yard and put in a pool, they have a 13 month that goes into the pool all the time with his dad. This terrifies me that they put in a pool when a baby was on the way but what am i to do...not my decision.
When the pool first went in, i was really clear that I didn’t want my daughter near the pool or at a house with a pool until she knows how to swim. Well... last week grandma took my daughter to my BIL house and to separately to a friends house who also has a pool...neither time did they actually go in the pool, they were just casual indoor visits.
I gotta admit I don’t like this!!! I just don’t want to take the risk with pools!!!
I’m assuming she forgot that I had feelings about all this and just isn’t thinking, and I feel like I’m always reminding them of rules... my husband thinks I’m freaking out but I need some support that I’m not and this is a valid safety concern. Am I crazy???
