How do you know when you’re in love ?

I just wanna know different opinions and thoughts. I’m not sure if it’s love or lust 😪 i think about him all the time i dream about him. I put my pride to the side for him . When we do spend time with each other i feel safe and comfortable. I talk to him when he’s upset and when he doesn’t want to talk about stuff I’m understanding.

Well I guess I’m different from the other two women who responded because I didn’t “just know”. It was extremely difficult for me to tell the difference between love and lust and I wanted to be sure because if it was simply lust and would fade over time, there was no reason for us to let anyone know we were seeing each other. Plus I had this crazy schoolgirl giddy feeling and butterflies whenever I was around him. I read a lot of articles that talked about the difference between love and lust. For me it was 
1.  I wanted to be around him even if sex wasn’t involved and he seemed to want the same. 
2.  We talked about a variety of subjects. 
3.  We went on dates and for walks....not all our time was spent having sex. 
4. You think about that person throughout your day and wonder about their wellbeing. 
So I fell in love with a person I still have lust for even after four years.

As Abigail said, you just know. I know you are probably like “ WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?!?!?!” I used to be the same way. Then I fell in love, and they were right. You just know. It is crazy.
