Buyer Beware: Facebook ads!!

b

This is just a friendly reminder to be very careful ordering anything online, but especially when ordering from a Facebook ad. There is several ads going around Facebook advertising “good deals” on car seats. Well, please don’t do what I just did because not only do I feel like an absolute moron, but I am also freaking out because I’ve just plugged all of my credit card info into a scammer’s website thinking I was going to get a “good deal” on a new car seat.....it’s almost midnight where I live and the bank isn’t open to help me now that I’ve put my information in a compromised situation. Please be smarter than I was ladies, they got me. It even looked like a legit Graco website. I’ve reported them and a few other scamming websites to Facebook but I’m sure the advertisements are still circulating. I’m just trying to save you from the stress I’ve stupidly brought upon myself. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Edit: Fortunately I was able to call the emergency number on the back of the card and cancel it so they didn’t get any of my money....unfortunately not everyone was so lucky, I’ve seen other women/men posting about how their cards were charged even more than what the “transaction” for the car seat should have been for. 😔 Hopefully their bank will dispute the charges.
