I've always wondered this, coming from a poor background, my mother always kept our house clean but lots of family and friends who were not working and claiming money from the government always had a messy/dirty house, whenever I went to someone's house who was better off they usually had a nice clean house. also watching programs like benefits street in the UK ALL of their houses are dirty so surely there has to be a connection somewhere? and if there is why is that? what causes worse off people to be dirty? what are your thoughts on this.
