Dilation at 36 weeks?

I had my 34 week appointment today and they told me next appointment they’ll start checking my cervix. I know everyone’s different. I was just wondering what y’all’s cervix’ looked like at 36 weeks.

Lol.. at my last appointment I was 40 weeks + 2 days and 0cm dilated. Some women start dilating at the beginning of their 3rd trimester though! Good luck.

36 & 37 weeks I was 1cm. 38 weeks I was 3cm 50% effaced.

At 36 weeks with my son, i was 1cm dilated and 70% effaced. He came on my due date.

I was 3 cm with my oldest daughter at my appointment for week 36-39. I was induced at 39 weeks.

I wasn’t dilated until I went into labor with my first. Doctors kept saying not to get frustrated because it’s totally normal. I went in for an appointment two days after my due date and still nothing. The next day I lost my mucus plug and had a “bloody show.” At 2 am the day after I started having contractions. 
I’ve also known people to be dilated for months and that was just normal for them.

At 35 weeks 6 days I was a fingertip and softening. But the past 2 weeks I have been 1cm and 30% effaced. I have an appointment tomorrow at 38 weeks 5 days so we will see if theres any changes
