FTM...do I get a bottle warmer or no?

Question

Planning to breastfeed but I will be pumping and baby will take bottles once I go back to work. Wondering if a bottle warmer is a nice thing to have or not worth it? The one I’m looking at has a defrost setting and settings for breast milk specifically, along with formula settings if we end up going that route and baby food settings. Just didn’t know if it was worth it or not.

Not needed. Putting the bottle in a cup of hot water works faster than a warmer anyway

I have this basic bottle warmer from Avent. I bought it used for $5 and use it all the time! My breastfed baby is extremely particular about bottle temp since she’s used to body temperature milk. I can’t even pump and immediately give her the milk bc it’s not warm enough for her 🙄 Some babies aren’t nearly as particular, but for us, a bottle warmer is 100% necessary.

I found the most use for ours during night feeding. I exclusively pumped so it was nice to put the milk in the warmer and go to bed knowing when she woke up hungry I wouldn’t have to waste time warming up her milk and we could all get back to sleep faster. The warmer I have is made especially for that kind of situation and keeps milk at the correct temp for up to 4hrs. But I agree with other moms it depends on your baby. My friend never gave her baby warmed milk (unless it was straight from the breast) so her baby could care less the temp of the milk (breast or formula) he’s drinking

Our bottle warmer was a god send for my husband when he was a stay at home the first 5 months. It was about $15 from First Years and sanitized things as well. I donated it after but I thought it was useful.

Ours was awesome for feedings that my husband did. I breastfed for 13 months and he went to daycare during the day from 5 months on. 
He was fed bottles very often and it just made life easier. Products that make life easier and don’t put your baby in any harm? Heck yes!!!!

My daughter is breastfed as well and we have a bottle warmer. My husband is really the one who used it because I mainly just nursed her since I'm home with her all day. We have the Baby Brezza Bottle Warmer. We do not use it much now. She's nine-months, pretty much on the sippy cup and also eating solids so she prefers room temp breast milk. We liked the bottle warmer for the most part. It's not the cheapest option though. A cheaper alternative is the Munchkin Bottle Warmer (which is the bottle and sippy cup brand we use). Both my parents and in-laws had that one at their homes for us to use when we visited them so we wouldn't have to transport the other.

I had the Avent bottle warmer and never even opened the box. I'd get one, you might decide you need it and it's better to be prepared.

Never used one, we get super hot water straight from the tap. I think it's just one of those things that some people don't use and some people think it's the best convenience ever.

I exclusively pumped and I never got one. Never would have seen any circumstances in which I would have used it personally.
