To moms with a lot of kids or kids close in age

Is it really THAT hard as people make it out to be?

I have a one year old and babysit a 1, 3, & 5 for 9-11 hours Monday-Friday. I get through the day perfectly fine but my family & friends are freaking out when I mention I want another kid soon. We don’t make tons which I think is part of the reason for them questioning us but we make enough to get everything we need and most of what we want.

Did you find your situation with kids make life hard or financially difficult the more kids/closer in age?
