I need some help here!
I just started maternity leave for #2 (due in September), I also have a 3.5yo.
Who never. shuts. up. It's driving me batty after three days, yet somehow I have to survive like 10 more years of this.
I am a person who could happily go a couple days without talking and not even notice, and this little creature has a hard time eating enough because she can't talk and chew at the same time. I actually have to leave the room so she can finish a meal, if she can see me she talks instead of eating. SO MANY people told me when she first started talking that I would rue the day, and I scoffed. I was so, so wrong. Do any of u ladies have advice for this?
Edit: I don't mind her talking to herself. It's the constant interrogation (requiring me to answer her) that drives me nuts/saps my life force. I just don't enjoy talking to anyone for this many hours a day.
