Should I do a gender reveal?

I know it's obviously a decision I need to make, but I keep going back and forth. Prior to getting pregnant I wanted to go all out and throw this huge party. I have my genetic testing on Tuesday and will be getting the bloodwork done to find out the gender...even if it takes a week or two for the results, I don't know if I'll be able to wait longer than that to announce at a party. Also, I kind of want it to be an intimate thing between me and my husband...my best friend is a photographer and I was thinking of trying to do our own little gender reveal with pictures, and then maybe inviting our parents over once we know and maybe getting a cake so it's a surprise for them? I don't know I really can't decide !!
