Prolonged period, should I call the doc?

Hi so I got on birth control (the 3 month shot) the 28 of June and I got my period exactly 2 weeks ago and my period still hasn’t ended. I’m also going to throw in the past 4 days I’ve also been more sexually active than usual idk if that could have any effect on my bleeding but idk. I’m thinking I should take a break from sex cause that might not be helping out the whole bleeding thing but idk what do y’all think? Should I just stop having sex and see if that helps or should I call my doc?
