Suddenly refusing solids

Hi ladies!

My DD has loved solid food since we introduced it. Up until right before her first birthday a couple weeks ago, she was eating everything we put in front of her. I had started cutting down breastfeedings and she was fine with it.

But since the excitement of her first birthday, she has pretty much only wanted the breast and is refusing to eat or take her milk out of a cup. And without the table food, she is hungry all the time.

Her doctor believed that it was just the excitement of everything going on and people in town that has thrown her off and says to wait it out, but I keep fearing that she's not getting enough to eat.

Anyone else have this issue?
