Should we go to the vet?

My little one has the runs, usual no biggie but my due date is Sunday and I don't want to leave it unresolved in case I go into labor!.
It started Monday, I gave her some pumpkin yesterday but she was still up 3 times last night to go out.
I took her food last night and will try chicken and rice today but if it's a virus or something I want to get her what she needs asap instead of waiting... I also don't want to pay unnecessary vet bills!
She's otherwise acting normal, eating, drinking, playing, chasing squirrels...
what would you fur mom's do??

Chicken and rice should help. Also maybe a little plain yogurt for some probiotics to help rebalance gut bacteria. It wouldn't hurt to call the vet to see if there's anything you should watch for in the next day or two or ask if there's anything else you can do.

why did you give her pumpkin? Any blood in the poo? defo chicken and rice for the next 3 days and nothing else food wise. If she gets better wean her back onto her normal food slowly (over 6 days) as sometimes they can get an upset tummy again. If the diarrhoea doesn't improve with chicken and rice, there's any blood or she starts vomiting definitely take her in. As someone else mentioned, give your vets a call they are here to help! good luck

You can give her kaopectate to help with the runs, 1ml per pound. Just mix it in with the food. I would definitely call the vet first though and see what they say.

Thanks for everyones advice! Usually I would give it a few days as long as shes acting normal but I'm worried because my due date is so close!
I don't want to go into labor, leave her (with the neighbors) not knowing if somethings wrong.
I know I'd be jumping the gun going early but I'm just wondering if it's worth it just for the piece of mind!
I think I will call the office and see what they say.

I have a good relationship with my vet, so I would probably give the office a call and ask their opinion. They can usually tell you if some doggie viruses have been going around.
