HELP: Make Out Woes 😭

So I loooove making out with my bf. But he has perpetual stubble that hurts terribly when we make out. My face gets crazy red and irritated... sometimes for days! He can’t grow it out to make it long and supple because of his job and he gets stubble within an hour of shaving. Are there any creams, oils, remedies that he can use as a hair softener or something? He tries to be gentle but he can’t stop growing hair on his face (can he... 🤔 lol jk). Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
