Has anyone ? D&C

Today I found out my baby has no heartbeat only last week we seen a heartbeat on the ultrasound. But no there's no heartbeat and no blood flow I also got my HGC levels done I get it back tomorrow if it has dropped I have to schedule a D&C or let it pass naturally he said if I let it past naturally I may experience more pain and if I get a D&C it will be quicker and I don't have to wait for the baby to pass has anybody experienced a D&C and how was it, how pain was it, how did it go, how long did it take for you the heal, how sad is it, were you able to get pregnant after, how long did you wait, so many questions I ask myself I know its not my fault but I want to blame me I just want to cry and cry and cry. Are you able to keep the fetus or is it too small to cremate I don't want me to throw my baby away like garbage
