Pregnant???

I'm 8 days late according to my app. My last 3 periods were on time now it's not. Within the 3 months we used condoms every time. Tuesday night we did not. We had sex hoping it would jump start my period and it hasn't. I wasnt really cramping before and now I am but it's not the normal period cramps. Could I be pregnant?? My mom said I could be but others say there's no way!
