Delivering at 34 weeks

Angelica

I’ve been seeing a specialist this pregnancy. (Second baby) I was told I have a marginal cord insertion so he wanted to keep checking on the baby’s growth. Thankfully he’s been growing right on schedule. I’m 33w today and was told he’s approximately 5.2 pounds. Last month I was told my amniotic fluid was low, then today I was told it’s even lower. My doctor said to come back in a week and if the amniotic fluid is lower than what it is today then he wants to induce labor. I’ll be 34 weeks at the follow up appointment and kind of freaking out at this point. I do not have gestational diabetes, I do not have preeclampsia, my blood pressure has been perfect. I’ve been drinking lots of water but can’t seem to get ahead 😅 Has anyone delivered at 34 weeks? What was your experience? My doctor said sometimes this just happens. The baby doesn’t have any abnormalities which could cause this to happen, my health has been good, I’m just so confused! This happen to anyone else before? Thanks in advance.
