Has anyone done birthing classes?

I’m starting birthing classes on Monday. Just wondering if anyone else found it interesting/ helpful? 
I’m also taking CPR classes and breastfeeding classes. 
If you cant tell, he’s my first 🤦🏼‍♀️💙💙

I highly recommend it! This is my first and I am learning so much valuable information. It is a requirement for where I’m giving birth because they value it so much. 
The birth class I’m taking isn’t affiliated with the hospital and their studies show that mothers who take their class have a 1:10 risk of c-section whereas mothers who don’t take the class have 1:4 risk.   
There will be woman that say don’t take it cause you don’t know what kind of labor your have but learning about the interventions can help you and your birth partner ask the right questions because you can say no to them. Doctors won’t put you in danger but they don’t always do things in the best interest of you or baby.

I took prenatal and breastfeeding with my first and I'm doing them again. Does not hurt to be educated on the most important thing you will ever do!

Yes classes are extremely helpful. Especially living away from family, it was wonderful being around other pregnant women and their partners too!

Yes they are sooo helpful and they answer every question or concern you may have I even did a  hospital tour.

We did a childbirth class. I thought it was helpful as they had a nurse from our hospital go over quite a bit of information - like when you should go to the hospital, pain management, and other various things. We’re taking a breastfeeding class as well - it’s our first too. 😊
