GUY SENDING MIXED SIGNALS ??!

i guess that from the story itself , you will be able to tell this is about people who are still teens hitting puberty and not grown-up , developed people.

i have this guy that i have been crushing on for almost a year now and my feelings have been going on and off.

i know that , with every past crush of mine , i would eventually learn something about them that is turn-offish and i will stop liking them pretty easily.

however , this guy gave me so many reasons to ditch my feelings but they keep coming back over and over again to the point of frustration.

one day he will be pretty much polite , interested in some light conversation or small talk and he will be , you know , approachable or maybe even looking out for me in subtle ways.

but then the next time i see him , he gets all cold , distant , he even stopped greeting me at one point ! like , i used to greet him first when i see him and he would respond , but then he stopped even that. i stopped greeting him too because standards and whenever we see each other we would just exchange eye contact for a few seconds !

i don't really know what to think as he leaves me very , very confused.

does he have some problem with me or does he like me ? is this normal behaviour for a teenage guy or a guy in general according to you ladies ?

i don't know much about men's behaviour so i appreciate all the help i can get or opinions you can offer !

also , confessing my feelings or confronting him about isn't even an option because of both my personal standards and somewhat strict family relatives !
