expectations vs reality!

with my due date getting near (Aug 12th) I had everything ready! bags by the door, car seat in, house

kept clean, care arrangements for the dogs... so when I went into labor we could just go!

This morning at 430 my water broke! no contractions, nothing!

I've been hanging around for 7 hours now! watching TV, building swings, painted my nails... it's far more uneventful then I expected it to be!

I am being induced this afternoon and know it'll get crazy but I thought they'd be a lot more chaos from the beginning!!

now I'm just waiting for my husband to bring my sub home and the midwife to call and tell me what time to go to the hospital! wish me luck!
