When does your vagina go back after birth?

We just did it for the first time since having baby.  This was my first child.  I didn’t have any tears when pushing.  I felt loose as a goose 😔 My boyfriend could tell I was upset and kept saying it felt amazing, but we both know it was not the same.  I’m upset.  Does it ever go back?  How long for y’all?

Everyone is different but my husband says I feel tighter now than before the baby.

it didn't feel normal to me for like 6 months really.  the muscles have to retrain tightness after nine months of being stretched... not just the birth.

It takes time. Every body is different. Your body has done an incredible thing. It might be different at the moment, but it will normalize. Try to trust your partner when he says that you feel good. You probably do. I don’t often see men saying things they don’t mean.

I had 2 babies 13 months apart and had sex again 4 weeks pp after the second and it was just as tight as before any kids.

I didn't have that problem, but my obgyn said it takes 6 months to go back to normal.
